Denim on Deck
Eighty years after its maiden voyage in 1927, we embarked on a comprehensive renovation of the iconic Central Station ferry. The ferry now displays natural and raw materials, with an outdoor area covered by a canvas top and detachable windows. Inside, a fully automatic sliding roof ensures protection against any weather conditions. Other standout features include an aged grey herringbone teak flooring, indirect lighting behind waved plates, leather-upholstered seats, and a bar finished with raw stainless steel, teak, and brass nails. Accomodating up to 25 guests, it will be available starting September 1st, 2007 for tailor-made meetings, cocktail parties, and canal tours via VIP Watertaxi Amsterdam. All year through.
